Shas’ui Anda’lissera Rii’pah Jackson

Though young, Shas’ui Anda’lissera Rii’pah Jackson is already a hardened veteran of Anda’lissera’s wars of independence. She was born to a military engineer and a marine on what was then called Solum Prime, during the failed Imperial annexation of the planet. After the planet formally joined the Tau’va, Jackson’s parents continued their service as Gue’vesa. Growing up on military bases, Jackson spent her formative years studying battle tactics and military technology brought by the T’au. In her teens, she came out, aided by earth caste medical care, and took on the feminine T’au name Rii’pah. She enrolled as Gue’vesa’la at age 15, following her mother into the military. Her drill ‘Ui noted her quick mind and dexterity and assigned her to pathfinder duties in an experimental mixed unit - a hallmark of Sept Anda’lissera that persists to this day. She served alongside T’au and Kroot, as well as her fellow humans, on many offworld reconnaissance missions which brought her to the attention of cadre command. By age 21, she was serving as Gue’vesa’ui of her pathfinder team, assigned increasingly dangerous missions in campaigns against Imperial Gue’ron’sha and barbarous Be’gel.

The next year, her homeworld declared their support for O’Shovah’s secessionists and Ui’Rii’pah travelled back to her homeworld to defend it from hostile Empire loyalists. Though some joined her, her pathfinder team shattered, each going their separate path, and many remained loyal to the empire. On Anda’lissera, Rii’pah used her experience to fight with small militia bands to great effect, helping to undermine and throw off loyalist control of the swamps of the southern landmass.

Now the war is over, Anda’lissera is formally allied with the Farsight Enclaves. Species distinction has been erased in Anda’lisseran territory, and Rii’pah proudly bears the Fire Caste title Shas’ui, serving as something of a maverick asset. Her missions take her deep into enemy lines, sabotaging transport links, severing communications, and sewing terror with strategic assassinations. While her methods are unorthodox and sit outside established T’au doctrine, it cannot be denied that the forces of Anda’lissera would struggle immeasurably without her.
